Feist - How Come You Never Go There
Feist has returned, well almost.... with the first single from Metals, Feist's hotly anticipated third album, 'How Come You Never Go There' doesn't have the instant allure of '1,2,3,4' but certainly demands attention. Tattered electric guitar, savoury horns and bluesy soul with Feist's piercing vocals singing a ballad about a bruised and broken romance. ("How come you never go there?/How come I'm so alone there" she sings) it's remorseful, yet demands recognition. With each spin 'How Come You Never Go There' becomes more captivating, making for an intriguing introduction to Metals, which drops October 4th.
