Dwntwn - Hungry Hearts
Last week L.A. duo Jamie Leffler and Robert Cepeda (aka Dwntwn) unleashed their new single 'Hungry Hearts' for free download off their Facebook page. 'Hungry Hearts' dreamy electro-pop recalls Young Galaxy's 'We Have Everything' is complete with sonar-like pulses, an 80s inspired synth beat, and Leffler's almost hollow yet ever present vocals make for a lush, mellow tune perfect for the wee twilight hours. Dwntwn's 'Hungry Hearts' hasn't stopped being played at Shattered Vinyl, since it's first spin, its the perfect pop tune for the dog days of summer. Recently earning attention for a remix of One Republic's 'Good Life' and a video in works for 'Hungry Hearts' there's plenty of reason to put Dwntwn on your radar.
