Bluebell - Normal Heights
There's been steady buzz for several months surrounding UK's Bluebell, and while there is little known about singer Annabel Jones' (formerly of the band Lady And The Lost Boys) new project, in the case of Bluebell the lack of a back story or much of any story adds a bit of mystery to the alluring rhythmic, symphonic pop track 'Normal Heights.' Jones' climatic vocals, and lush synth based pop are agreeable, not to mention a music video that goes for the nostalgic with what looks like a random series of home video clips strung together. It's nothing special but keeps in line with illusive nature of Bluebell, a fun if not titillating discovery, and a tune that invites being played more than once.
