Class Actress - Weekend
September in Toronto is usually dominated by T.I.F.F. (Toronto International Film Festival) with rock royalty U2 and Pearl Jam showcasing documentaries all eyes are on the festival. Meanwhile, Brooklyn-based Class Actress took the stage at Toronto's Drake Hotel, the group's star-in-the-making lead singer Elizabeth Harper stole the show, and has had Shattered Vinyl hooked ever since.
Releasing their second single 'Weekend' (Download it FREE!) off their soon to be released debut album, Harper and company ooze sexy, noir electro-pop with Harper's coos with anticipation of a rendezvous with a lover, that's fueled by desire and pleasure. It's a mesmerizing electro-pop tune that is perfect for the end of the week or any day for that matter... Judging by the number of times 'Weekend' has been played already, Class Actress certainly has some star power, that's not to be overshadowed.
