Data Romance - Bullets

   Keeping in tradition with Shattered Vinyl's Single Selections (which will now be a Tuesday Staple) is a new installment each and every Monday called Sound Waves, where we pick one track that's busting out of the Shattered Vinyl stereos, headphones and even sung off key in the shower. A track that's soo hot, so addictive and so worth your time and energy, it's defies the Single Selections list and gets showcased right here on SOUND WAVES!

   Kicking off our inaugural Sound Wave is a Shattered Vinyl favourite, Data Romance. After landing on our 10 Artist to Watch in 2011 list, the Vancouver duo of Amy Kirkpatrick and Ajay Bhattacharyya have been slaving away working on their debut discs, and last month teased fans via Facebook with two tracks including 'Bullets' a lush, atmospheric electronic track that shimmers with Kirkpatrick's gorgeous vocals and sleek production that make for an addictive track that we just can't get enough of! This is one song that if it's any indication, Data Romance's debut record could be well worth the wait!
