Givers - Saw You First
If there's one thing Shattered Vinyl loves it's a slow burning song, one that just sits on S.V's playlist endlessly. Though Louisiana natives, Givers released their debut album In Lights back in July, "Saw You First" has been in rotation ever since. Mixing sprightly guitars, a chugging drum beat and warm harmonies into a cheery, playful tune set to an airy, spaced out backdrop. The instrumentals are rather raw, making for an organic sound that's enthralling time and time again. Givers deliver, upbeat indie pop that you can't resist.
