Grouplove - Grouplove EP 4/5
LA-based Grouplove are red hot as the buzz surrounding the quintet's self-titled debut EP reaches a fever pitch with its release this week. Internet buzz has been growing, even being named 'Artists to Watch 2011' by Billboard.com. Grouplove's endlessly energetic blend of artsy folk-indie rock is simply irresistable.
The band constructs tight mixtures of pop-folk-rock that without fail explode into a kaleidoscope of colour. Lead single 'Colours' is just a tease of the rest of the EP's six tracks from 'Giddy', a lovable early 90s alt lullaby to the sing-a-long 'Naked Kids' complete with hand claps, they never miss a beat.
