Teen Daze - Let's Groove  A Silent Planet

Dancefloor junkies have a new reason to rejoice with Fraser Valley, BC-based Teen Daze offered up his New Years gift via Bandcamp the fist pumping, electro-disco jam "Let's Groove." Sampled vocals, processed horns and enough groove to bust a move to, it's one catchy ditty, and did we mention it's FREE!? Happy New Year!

Little City - Sperry    Official Website

Toronto's folk-rock outfit Little City are kicking off the year right with a new track "Sperry," part of the band's new 7" "Sperry/Capt. Kendall" out January 24th. Rich, warm textures and reflective, the folk outfit are offering "Sperry" as a free download on Facebook.

Midi Matilda - Day Dream   Bandcamp

The undeniably catchy "Day Dream" by San Francisco's Midi Matilda has been in high rotation at Shattered Vinyl over the past couple days. Bubbly synths, a piano backbeat, and horn interlude to boot, what's not to love?! It's a slice of pop heaven.

Destroyer - Leave Me Alone (New Order Cover)   Soundcloud

Joining MOJO Magazine's New Order covers album, Destroyer performs "Leave Me Alone" from the band's 1983 classic Power, Corruption & Lies.  Dan Bejar and co. give a spectacular re-interpretation, not that they're too far off given their latest record Kaputt has its own 80s vibe.
