Pittsburgh's 1,2,3 follow-up their debut album New Heaven with the effortlessly cool, Dreamland Pt. 1 EP. Available for free download on Tumblr their latest offering may not be what you'd expect, still offering their unique brand of indie pop/rock, but with a more dreamy, soothing atmosphere.
Verging on dreamy pop singer Nic Snyder wrote the five track EP initially for his baby neice. "It Gets Dark" is a waltzing lullaby while "Riding the Wooly Bug to Dreamland" is in turns comforting and creepy, 1,2,3 create a concept EP that's both hypnotic and soothing.
A title like Dreamland Pt. 1 implies there is more to come from this initial inspiration of pop gems, and we're certainly game for more, we just need to take a quick nap first!
