Single Selections: Dancefloor Edition

Frankmusik - Do It In The AM (feat. Far East Movement)   3/5   Official Website

The first single from the British singer/producer's debut US album, features 'it' group Far East Movement and Frankmusik's standard dance-pop sound. It's catchy, danceable, radio friendly, and makes for decent party music but it's nothing special.

Vanbot - Make Me, Break Me   1/5   Myspace

A hybrid of fellow Swede Robyn's dance-pop, La Roux-esque synth and bratty 80s pop, Vanbot is the latest artist to join the growing number of female dance-oriented artists. For a hybrid it disappoints, tired synth, vocals that are at times eerily similar to Robyn and a chorus that's grating, there's no love here for Vanbot, just a b-side that's best forgotten.

Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me   4/5   Leaked

The lead single off the singer/rapper's third LP Playing in the Shadows is a climatic electro-dance tune that's hard to get out of your head. Dancefloor ready, with a hard hitting beat, Example's grim style and plenty of energy, it's one dance track that's sure to be spun again and again.

Calvin Harris - Bounce (feat. Kelis)   4.5/5  Official Website

The multi-tasking singer/songwriter/producer/dj has teamed up with Kelis for a sure fire hit with the single 'Bounce.' It's the perfect summer tune with warm synth, a popping beat, and undeniable groove what's not to like? An airy, light, carefree perfect for summer dance parties.
